Boxing fans might think that the Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez is just another boring fight to start with. Based on Roger Mayweather’s prediction, the two previous matches between Pacquiao vs Marquez is somewhat controversial and could likely go either way.
Pacquiao and Marquez certainly had slug it out in the ring in 2004 and 2008, and both of them knew they hit hard and hurt each other bad. Pacquiao has knocked Marquez three times in 2004 and felt that he understood everything that Pacquiao has to offer. Marquez was able to understand the Filipino punchers move and manage to finish the whole fight with a controversial draw.
Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach is confident enough of the catch weight of 144 pounds, Pacquiao and Marquez can beat forever as they fought in lower class weight catch at 126 pounds and 130 pounds in the past few games.
Fight enthusiasts have seen Marquez as the best contender and the perfect opponent for Pacquiao’s lightning fast speed. Marquez has proven himself in the past that he can beat Pacquiao in a square off, as he is the only fighter that can match physically and mentally with the Pacman. In the first fight, Marquez has been knocked down thrice during their first encounter but still he was able to give Pacquiao a hard time.
With the first of Pacquaio and Marquez fights being exciting as they were, fighting fans are in high spirits for their next encounter this coming November. In general, this third bout will go down in history as one of the best climax fights in boxing trilogies.
