Pacquiao is all set to hit the gym on the third week of September. Manny Pacquiao, Welterweight champion of the WBO is headed straight for a third fight with WBA Ring Lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez. The Pacquiao vs Marquez trilogy is set to culminate on November 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas with Manny to begin his first phase of boxing training at the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City.
Coach Freddie Roach together with physical conditioning trainer Alex Ariza is set to head off at the Baguio training camp to train with the champ Manny Pacquiao for three weeks before heading it out in the Wild Card Gym in the United States for the final phase of training.
The Baguio training camp is part of Manny’s training regimen with the cool climate and high altitude it is the perfect spot to train. Baguio also makes a good place for Pacquiao to make a transition environment as it is the same environment and weather of that in California.
Boxing fans are in favor of Pacquiao for winning the fight as Marquez is heading it out at 38 years old when the fight takes place. Durign their fisr meeting, Pacquiao and Marquez duke it out at a catch weight of 126 pounds in which resulted in a controversial draw. Later in their second fight, they clocked in at 130 pounds in which Manny won in a hairline margin and again it was controversial.
Roach wanted the third fight to be convincing to win the issue once and for all. Team Pacquiao is hoping for a knockout victory in favor for Pacquiao.
